After over 30 years in the dance world including a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree from The Juilliard School, the title of Miss
New York 1988 and a talent award at the Miss America Pageant,
Mia Davis is in the unique position to help dancers of all
levels perfect their talents and improve their abilities and
confidence in performance of all types.
Whether you are a young dancer wanting to improve your
strength on pointe or an established dancer wanting competition
coaching, or even a pageant contestant looking for new
choreography, Mia can help you!
Mia's philosophy in coaching and choreography is that her job
is to take a dancer’s strengths and showcase them to the best of
their abilities, rather than try and make them adapt to a mold
of her choreography. Mia feels if a dancer is not comfortable in
their movement they will not shine or be able to express
themselves.
